Empty Pulpit - pulpit vacancy - Trinity is looking for a minister

Update from Session

On April 1st, the Presbytery of East Toronto met at Trinity for a special meeting to vote to approve the call to Brett. Our Interim Moderator, Rev. Victor Kim, reported on the steps of the search process and the results of the congregational meeting and the very strong support for Brett to be our new minister of word and sacrament at Trinity. As Search Committee Co-chairs, Liz Albrecht-Bisset and I represented Trinity at Presbytery and spoke strongly in favour of the call. The Presbytery voted to approve the call.

This past Tuesday, the Presbytery of Brampton, approved the call to the Rev. Brett Main from Trinity. Rev. Kim Victor represented Trinity at that meeting.

The final step now is for the service of induction of Rev. Main to take place at Trinity on Sunday May 25th at 7:00 pm. It is hoped that many of the congregation will attend this service. A reception will follow the service in celebration of this wonderful time in the life of Trinity.

Join Us!

We'd love to have you be as one with us. You’ll find a kind Christian community who cares about you, your family and our world.

For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.

We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.
- Romans 12:4-8
