Kirk's career of more than twenty-five years has centred in his serving as a minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada at churches in Calgary, Alberta and London, Ontario.  He is also a past certified long-term care administrator and in 2014 concluded a term as chief operating officer for a faith-based residential facility caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of cognitive impairment.

Kirk's educational background includes degrees in sociology (Wilfrid Laurier University), divinity (Knox College, University of Toronto) and philosophy (University of Wales).

He is married to Nancy.  They have two children, Alex and Jamie -- and a dog named Moses.  Kirk's energy for his work at Trinity carries on to days off spent at their farmhouse near St. Mary's Ontario.

Trinity people have come to appreciate Kirk's unwavering faith in the good news of God's love in Jesus and the life-changing impact of that.   The services he conducts reflect prayerful consideration, thoughtfulness, and a desire to share his vision of Christianity lived out in day-to-day life.   Trinity people are thankful that as we do the work and worship which is Trinity's calling, we get to do it along side Kirk Summers.

In addition to Lenard's being organist and choir director at Trinity Presbyterian Church, he is also lecturer at the University of Toronto Scarborough College in music teaching and musicianship and conducts the Concert Choir.  Lenard is conductor of Ensemble TrypTych Chamber Choir which performs three major concerts each season in addition to community events. He has yet another career singing.

Lenard Whiting is native to Kenora. Upon completion of high school he continued his musical studies in Toronto at the Royal Conservatory, University of Toronto and with the Canadian Opera Company. Lenard has been performing in Operas, Operettas, Concerts and Oratorios since he was a teenager. His performances take him to Europe, the United States and throughout Canada. His repertoir covers everything from Monteverdi to Mozart and Bach to Beethoven. In 2010, Lenard sang the title role in the world premiere of Andrew Ager's Frankenstein.  Life and worship at Trinity are enriched by Lenard's musical giftedness and by Lenard himself.
