What we Believe


Presbyterians are Christians. And like other Christians we believe in one God who is revealed to us in three persons: in God the Father; in Jesus Christ his only son; and in the Holy Spirit who is always with us.


We believe that God loves us more than we can imagine, and more than we could ever deserve. God loves us so much that he sent his only son to die for our sins, so that all who believe in him might be forgiven and have eternal life.


Presbyterians are a thinking faith, always asking questions and seeking the truth. We are not a dogmatic faith with lots of rules that cannot be questioned. There are a few things that are important in our faith:



In the Presbyterian Church we celebrate two sacraments, which for us are visible signs of God’s invisible grace:
















Our worship services at Trinity are about an hour long and are easy to follow - everything you need is shown on our two projector screens at the front. And you won't be asked to introduce yourself at any of our worship services - so please don't worry about being embarrassed.
